Once lived Reinis ... 
Before 30 years he set up 13th track, track popularly conscripted to the Reina track.
Reinis, real name Zigurds Reinhards was born in 1925. year. Sigulda secondary school sports teacher throught his life was active supporter of the Latvian sports life.

In 1977th Rigas 1st Gymnasium students, Siguldas 1st Gymnasium students, Sigulda 1st secondary school students (including current track owner Olavs Legzdins) at Reina leadership began to build the track with trees and bushes overgrown river side of Vikmeste.
Next in ski slope construction and active life participated many, including the now well-known people in society.
At time when the tracks were private, it was a place where ruled democracy, Reiņa unique spirit and active lifestyle. There was only one rule, each had to ski, or at least should try. This rule is valid even today, as well as a special democratic atmosphere.
More than a decade at Zigurda Reinharda guidance famous Krimuldas - Reiņa alpine skiing Cup was organised. Reina track was able for holding last matches, often even the second half of April, thanks to the northern slope.
After two years, first ski lift and Reina hut were build, part of which can be seen even today. Over time, was created ski jumps, ski house and second ski lift.
Reiņa track was one of the first where, thanks to the lighting, major events was at evenings and nights.
After five years of mild winters, political and sporting thaw in 1992th was created farm "Kalnzaki" in whose territory was track.

Starting with 1996th the track began to upgrade to modern requirements, as far as possible.
+ 1996/97 - Ski-house/cafe was build. 
+ 1997/98 for the first time in Latvia - in public track is built Doppelmayr ski lift. 
+ 1998/99 - artificial snow production was started, created  brand new track for beginners, improved rental services. 
+ 2001/02  - powerful Snow groomer begins to work, which provides a perfect snow quality of all season.
+ 2002/03 - crosscountry skiing track up to 3 km was made. 1 km equipped with artificial snow and light.
+ 2003/04 -for first time Latvia brand new Doppelmayr ski lift was monted.
+ A new inventory service, shop and equipment rental house, 69 new rental gear assemblies. 
+  Snow production provides 4 snow guns.
+ 2004/05 - another new Doppelmayr ski lift was instaled on main track.
+ 2005/06 - first time in Latvia, the first new Pisten Bully snow groomer was bought, as well as pipedragon and track settler for croscauntry skiing.
+ Snow production guarantees 5 snow guns (3 Arecco Supersnow, 2 TechnoAlpin M18) 
+ New Reina cafe was build in the main track top with a modern interior and an extensive menu offers.
+ Installed an electronic ticketing system.
+ Set up first in Latvia halfpipe, according to all standards. 
+ 2007/08 season moved and transformed snowboard park.
+ Opened Reina guest house with rooms, apartments, meeting room, as well as Reiņa terrace which opens up a view of the crosscountry skiing track and children's park. 
+ Set up a new children's park with SunKid Wonder carpet lift and SunKid children's park elements.
+Set up a special children's ski school. 
+ 2008/09 purchased timing system. 
+ Applied asphalt surface at croscountry skiing track parking lot.
